DIVO, taking its name from the masculine form of the Italian word “diva,” was born from the founders’ admiration for the artistic heritage of ancient Italian cities like Toledo. They envisioned a brand that would bring the essence of Italian craftsmanship and design to Vietnam, capturing the spirit of “la dolce vita” and the timeless elegance that defines Italian luxury. However, entering the luxury tile market presented significant challenges. The market was already crowded with long-established brands, each vying for the attention of discerning clientele. DIVO, as a new player, needed to carve out a distinct identity and resonate with customers seeking not just products, but an elevated lifestyle experience. This required a compelling brand narrative, a strong visual identity, and a clear articulation of DIVO’s unique value proposition.

xolve partnered with DIVO to navigate these challenges and craft a brand strategy that would capture hearts and minds. Through extensive workshops and market research, the strategic team delved deep into DIVO’s essence, analyzing competitor landscapes and identifying opportunities to differentiate. This process culminated in the “Art of Inspired Living” – a big idea that encapsulated DIVO’s commitment to curating luxurious spaces and empowering customers to transform their homes into havens of sophisticated design.

To translate this strategic vision into a tangible identity, xolve drew inspiration from the North Star, a celestial guide for those seeking their path. The logo’s elongated ‘d’ embodies this spirit of exploration, reaching for new heights in design excellence. The eight-pointed star, a metaphor for achievement and heritage, reflects DIVO’s dedication to preserving the legacy of Italian artistry while setting a new standard for refined living. Hand-drawn with modern cuts against classic lettering, the logotype encapsulates DIVO’s unique blend of heritage and contemporary vision.

xolve then extended this visual identity across a comprehensive range of applications, including packaging design, operational design items, and a website that seamlessly integrated the brand strategy and extended DIVO’s unique look and feel into every design element. The website showcased the brand’s commitment to empowering customers, offering not just products but a curated selection of design inspiration and expert guidance.
